O Carnaval ja comecou la no Brasil ja fazem alguns dias. Uuuulala...
Por aqui na terra do tio Sam, nao tem carna... tem Mardi Gras que eh celebrado em alguns estados e somente na 3a feira, ou Fat Tuesday, com eh chamada por aqui.
As vezes me da saudades do Carnaval, porque aquela semaninha de Carnaval da pra ir pular o Carnaval, ou brincar, ou viajar, visitar amigos, ou ainda, melhor ficar na cidade de Sao Paulo vazia, sem transito, passeando, e descansando muito. Fiz isso algumas vezes quando morava por la...

Valentine's Day ...
Ontem foi Valentine's Day aqui, e la no Brasil eh celebrado no dia de Santo Antonio em 12 de Junho.
Yesterday was Valentine's Day here in USA and also in many european countries. In Brazil we celebrate Valentine's Day in Sant Antony day on June 12.
Different date... but for sure the same romantic atmosphere....

Aula de Natacao / Swim Class
Hoje fui ate a piscina publica de Kona para ver se iria ter aula iniciante de natacao para adultos... e para minha supresa.... tinha... hehehe... e eu iniciei o curso, e agora eh para valer!!!
This morning I went to the Kona public swimmimg pool to check if will be happening a beginner's adult swimg class.... and for my suprise.... yesss there was a class today, and I began to do the lesson... and now if or real!!!

The largest wave ever surfed / A maior onda ja surfada
Falando um pouco sobre surf... ou melhor, mostrando hoje para voces o video de uma entrevista com Ken Bradshaw, que em 28 de Janeiro de 1998, surfou a maior onda de que ja se teve noticia, 85 pes... ou seja quase 30 metros de altura!!!
Pelo fato de eu nao conhecer o vocabulario do surf, e sabermos muito bem que uma foto vale por mil palavras, imaginem entao um video...
Ta curioso??? Entao vai ai em cima e clica no titulo desse post que eh o link que ira abrir um video INCRIVEL do youtube, e voce podera comprovar com imagens, o TAMANHO dessa ONDA!!!

I am not too familiar with surf language, and everybody knows that a picture is worthwhile a thousand words... can you imagine a video...

Noite para dancar / Dancing Nite
Ontem a noite, Sabado, Dianne, Rick, Scot e eu fomos juntos (no carro da Dianne) dancar!!!
Uuulala.... siiim.... dancar salsa, merengue, cha cha cha, cumbia, bachata. Foi uma noite bem gostosa, boa musica, otima companhia e uma vista maravilhosa, na linda Kailua Kona, de frente para o mar num restaurante chamado Sushi en Fuego... Liiindo...
Last night , Saturday, Dianne, Rick, Scot and myself drove together (in Dianne's car) to go dance!!!
Yeeeeesss...we dance salsa, merengue, cha cha,cumbia, bachata.
It was a delightful night, with excellent music, good company, in a restaurant with a wonderful ocean frontage called Sushi en Fuego, in Kailua-Kona.
Beauuuuutiful...

Nao teve aula hoje.... No class today...
Hoje fui toda feliz ate a piscina publica de Kona porque era o dia que iriam comecar as aulas de natacao iniciante para adultos. Soh que a aula foi transferida para a proxima 5a feria, as 10 horas da manha.
Tudo bem... problema nenhum. Com certeza estarei la!
